The word Moncha is derived from two different phrases, "mon amour" which means "my love" in French and “cha” for “tea” in Mandarin. I worked directly with founder Khesayc Chu Yang carefully crafting the cascading layout of mural and plant installations, keeping focal points flowing around the room. He wanted the space to feel soft, welcoming, very Instagrammable and most of a all, a place for people to come together and spend quality time. Cherry blossoms represent joyous gatherings; combined with roses commemorating the harmonious blend of cultures, tea and creating new memories. I carefully selected the color palate based on building brand consistency as well as its warm esthetic. (Mood Board)
